Rally Days
WHPC Quarry Reserve Rally Days
Rallies are held from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on the first Sunday of the month and are normally held at the Club's grounds on the corner of Violet Street and Park Crescent Williamstown.
Emphasis is given to provision of quality instruction by both the regular instructors and guest instructors. Riders are expected to arrive and present unmounted for gear check and line-up at the time notified by the DC. If Members are unable to attend a rally, they should notify the DC as soon as possible. In case of inclement weather, members should assume the rally will proceed unless otherwise notified.
Uniform
Full Pony Club uniform must be worn at every rally, ie. riding boots, jodhpurs, white shirt, black tie and WHPC jumper (or summer uniform of WHPC polo shirt). If a member is out of uniform, they must explain the reason to the DC. Riders may also wear the optional WHPC fleece vest and rain jacket.

If you wish to speak to a member in the class, obtain the Instructor's permission to do so. A parent or nominated guardian must be in attendance with Junior Members at all times.
Complaints
Complaints about the rally program or instruction must be directed to the DC.

- If late, a member must report to the DC and then wait until their instructor tells them to join.
- Members must not leave the class without permission of the Instructor.
- Members may not change horses unless they seek the permission of the DC.
- Members must not leave the Pony Club venue without permission of the DC.

The following Club Awards are given each year in recognition of its members
John Hunt Trophy
The John Hunt Trophy is awarded at the December rally and comprises in equal thirds points for punctuality (at am and pm line-up), presentation (of mount, rider and tack) and participation (enthusiasm, involvement and courtesy). The points for punctuality and presentation are given at each rally and the participation points will be given by the Committee at the end of the year.
Vi Colquhoun Perpetual Trophy
The Vi Colquhoun Trophy is awarded to the WHPC rider who is the club's top points scorer at our gymkhana held each year in October.
WHPC's Most Improved Rider
Awarded at the end of year Club Rally as nominated by the Committee
WHPC Encouragement Award
Awarded at the end of year Club Rally as nominated by the Committee
