The Story of Our Club
Williamstown Horse and Pony Club is a small and unique club situated within 8km of the Melbourne CBD and 1km to Port Phillip Bay. Our size does not prevent us from supplying a program of instruction which boasts enormous variety and high-level instruction.
Instructors are drawn from both our long-serving, dedicated, experienced team and from a range of expert visiting instructors. We also host a range of both Club and inter-club competitions. Every year we host our Annual Pony Club Gymkhana (usually in October) which includes a President's Cup show jumping qualifying event. Our inter-club events are both well-received and competitive.
Williamstown Horse & Pony Club members enjoy the very special privilege of being eligible to agist in our paddock with limited capacity. The Club very gratefully leases this land in Altona from the Mobil refinery. More information on membership and our club, it's rallies, competitions and agistment opportunities can be found on this website. Please make contact for more information.

- Anyone outside the class wishing to speak to a member in the class must first obtain the Instructor's permission to do so.
- Members may not change horses or allow any member or non-member on their designated mount for that day, except with permission of the DC or their appointee, or the member's Instructor.
- Members must not leave the Pony Club venue without permission of the DC and must report to them before leaving for home.

However, with prior approval of the DC, attendance will also be given where the rider is only able to participate in two of the four sessions on a maximum of TWO occasions each membership year. Unmounted attendance may be granted at the discretion of the DC.
